On May 1, 2009 new limits for couples in the A&D FPL go into effect. Because the SSP is decreasing on May 1, the A&D FPL couples limit will decrease as well. Welfare and Institutions Code, Section 14005.40 requires that the A&D FPL be the greatest of Supplemental Security Income/State Supplementary Payment Payment Standard or 100 percent of the FPL plus $310 for couples.
