EDD has extended the filing deadline for emergency UI to May 25th (after the date of this letter…). The Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) covers those who normally would not get UI (self-employed or exhausted benefits). The disaster counties were Fresno, Imperial, Kern, Kings, LA, Madera, Merced, Monterey, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Stanislaus, Tulare and Ventura.
